(Appearance to normal dragons)

Sting was the second demon to split off from They into their own being, becoming Their third subordinate in the process. Sting’s namesake comes from her ability to produce a cocktail of toxins from her body which can be secreted from her tentacles and spectral arms to cause anything from temporary paralysis to death. Her main task is to incapacitate and, if necessary, eliminate intruders.

She is paired with Whisper to produce offspring who are then assigned with infiltrating various clans to steadily establish a spy network in every corner of the realm. The two treat each other as little more than competent coworkers and have an entirely professional relationship. They raise their children to hold similar mindsets, treating them in a manner that is neither cruel nor overtly affectionate.

Personality-wise Sting is the more impulsive of the two, often choosing to take action first and ask questions later. Which is just as well since using words to fight is more Whisper’s forte. She doesn’t speak much at all, giving only single word answers if pressed. After all, actions speak louder than words.

Additional notes
  • the fluid masquerading as the capsule gene serves as the base for her toxins, while mixed in her body they are entirely harmless, it is only when she decides what toxin she wishes to secrete that they become dangerous
  • any offspring from Sting and Whisper with the capsule gene have the ability to produce one type of toxin
