Meatloaf - stylized as "meatloaf" on the side of her food stand - provides one of the circus' more popular dining destinations. It's certainly not for the environment. A dusty caravan stalled in front of some benches does not make for a comfortable setting. Arguably, it isn't even for the food being that good. Rather, her dedication to never serving the same thing twice without putting some kind of twist on it draws daredevils and foodies alike. While these cutting-edge dishes run a very high risk of being, by her own admission, "inedible", her bombastic personality usually lets her get away with selling just about anything from cherry-brined fishskins to deviled jelly-beans. A few rare treats from Meatloaf have even rocketed into near folklore status, with even some of the continent's most accomplished chefs failing to replicate anything remotely resembling its good taste.

Her fare is certainly not healthy, but tourists aren't there for their wellbeing. They're there to taste something likely no one else in Sornieth has - for the experience of the thing, and to perhaps be memorialized on the chance that they partake in one of her most extraordinary dishes yet.

Separate from her cooking antics, Meatloaf is a genuinely gifted chef - but gifted chefs, she finds, tend to fall into making the same things over and over again once they find their comfortable niche. She uses the food stand as a constant challenge to herself to combat this inclination.

Being the descendant of a line of well-reknowned chefs, her name carries a fair amount of clout - and someone "upstairs" seems to have noticed. She is one of a few dragons blessed with a "muse", a small internal voice gifted to at birth dragons who demonstrate enormous potential. While this voice is meant to act as a guide, Meatloaf and her muse have never quite seen eye to eye. Though she works alone, it is common to hear the snapper holding what appear to be one-sided conversations during meal prep, answering to her squabbling mind about one thing or another. It seems that her muse expected a more upscale experience than slinging burgers and fries.

Never, under any circumstances, ask her about the cotton candy hotdogs.

At first it was Baltic who caught my eye, but then I saw Meatloaf and burst out laughing when I read her caption. I love everything about her. Her outfit, her familiar choice, her description? She's all-around delightful.
