Kalliope

Kalliope is a prime example of the Arcane flight: a dreamer who is not afraid to pursue those reveries. However, she has taken that instinct to an unhealthy level, for she is consumed by dreamland. Her senses of sight, hearing, and even feeling are more times than not there -instead of here. Often, it is only her sense of smell that guides her through this world. Her consumption has left a huge rift within her clan, where she is matriarch, and while she is alive and present at most every gathering, she is never truly there, as the stars in her eyes display time and time again. As long-time clan members realize, perhaps the reason Kalliope dwells in Dreamland is that maybe the land does not provide enough stimuli for her, as she never really needs her full self in order to not only succeed but exceed all expectations, and when she is forced from her fantastical sanctuary, her cry is one of a mourning calliope...
