"The one constant in this world is struggle.

Dragons may try to break free of the cycle, claim they're happy. Content with that way that things are, with their lowly positions in life.

They aren't. They're lying.

Sooner or later, you will have to realize that. Or you'll get stepped on, over and over and over.

You'll get hurt, over and over and over again. You won't understand why. You can choose to live that life, full of pain and fear.

Or you can face that fact that some struggles are immutable, that some things don't change.

And you can choose to face the fact you can't control everything, even if you want to. Things will play out the way that they're meant to. The Shattering set everything in motion, and from that moment the die was cast. You can't change that. I can't change that.

But you can make the one decision that ever really matters. The only free decision you'll ever get.

You can change your role in all of this, your path. Abandon your outdated attachments, understand that no one else who ever mattered, who will ever matter, never held onto those ideas. Pursue power, and you can change your lot in life.

Just know that, with every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Others will suffer for your decision.

But if you don't make it, other people will. And you'll be the one suffering in their place..."
