Peridot

Peridot is wise and old. A strong willed and compassionate leader. She has instilled the ideas of bravery and loyalty to the clan as a whole. She is as firm as a oak, her ties to her clan and her flight like deep ancient roots. Her life has not always been amongst Clan Volsung. She was once as free and as wild as her daughter, Amayla.

She was once a wandering warrior, drifting from Clan to Clan, from one Flight to the next, to fight and battle those that stood against them. But as a Guardian her lack of a Charge needled her and having traveled the world without finding what she sought she returned home. Returned to Nature. There she found what is now Volsung, a great tree whose roots twisted and gnarled themselves into the vague shapes of cave and burrows.

She began preparing it for life, She molded and built into the roots, turning haphazard holes into dens and homes, and soon as she worked and prepared others began to arrive. Old souls who were seeking just as she for a place to finally call home. They joined her and she assumed the role of their leader. Her Charges became those that took shelter in her home. Her Charges became those she would come to know as family.

Her current advisors are Seeker, on matters of War and the Ice Flight and Dune, on matters of Trade, Diplomacy and the Fire Flight.
