Queen Eldrichanna, Holder of The Wealth of the Earth, Authority of The Peoples, And Lord of All She Can See, May the Light of Her Eyes Never Extinguish

As can be inferred from her meter long title, Eldrichanna is in charge around here. She acquired her locally supreme position gradually after superseding her first life-mate and original clan leader Baritone. She a single minded lust for treasures and authority, but governs in a way designed to keep it in her hands as long as possible ie; considered fair to the largest number of parties possible and unable to be violently objected to. Subsequently she has cemented her generous share of incoming wealth and insured herself against brutal deposition.

She is on progressing better terms with her old life mate and ex military comrade Baritone, after a cordial and mutual separation that later turned into a violent animosity when she took his son Opid (considered her step-son) as her newest King. This act led to the brink of a schism, with the well loved war-heroes Baritone and his daughter Tillandsia pushed by public opinion to challenge their son's right to rule. This conflict was resolved, less tragically then it might have been, by Opid's sudden enlistment into the fight for dominance. His death in battle led his parents to withdraw their challenge and seclude themselves from further celebrity.
