It was dark. Damp. Cold. But that did not bother him, nay he was used to it. After all, he was traveling to do Her bidding. But how does one navigate the fields of perpetual twilight alone, where not even the very essence of wind is present?

"No matter." He thought to himself. He was bid to travel in Her name, and he knew what failure brings. Shadows skittering around the corner, dark whispers foreboding immediate danger - yet the guardian stood tall. No lesser creature would phase him, for he has seen the truth, the horrors that lie beyond the veil.

The mist followed him. It threatened to choke, to tear at his insides and leave naught but a silent reminder. Even with Her blessing, the gargantuan struggled. But he would prevail, and conquer this land - prove himself to Her and stand at Her side. He had to.

Mustering his strength and willpower, he fought on against this harsh environment that threatened fate worse than death. And he was soon to be rewarded - for he now gained a new companion: dim light emanating from a distance.

"Glowshrooms." He concluded. Soon enough, the turquoise danced amongst the field of gloom, growing stronger with each passing step. This new discovery bolstered the titan's resolve, and with bolder steps he began approaching his destination.

Traversing through the flat, sunken lands he soon noticed the tell-tale sign of the apparatus - large shadowy gem glowing dimly as it absorbed the surrounding energies; the magic creeping into the crystal. He could sense the broods here; the guardians and keepers of this place.
