______ She is a highly respected dragon, and founder of this small dysfunctional Shadow flight. Her loyalty to her flight is never to be questioned. This is her family, regardless of her or any of other dragon’s pasts.

Rose has lived a life mostly of bloodshed and despair. Since the time she was born she was used to losing the ones close to her. She was born an orphan deep within Wispwillow Grove where she formed a great loyalty to Shadowbinder and the Shadow Flight. It was not long that she met Graav, and began to form a small family that would later become a flight for the lost and broken. Unfortunately most her children had been either killed by rival flights or they had ran away to find safer homes. Rose was broken by this, and she began questioning her own leadership and mothering abilities, eventually shoving everyone close to her away including Graav.

As a Shadow dragon she could only place her feelings of hatred on one flight, Light. She decided to raid a neighboring Light flight, and the rest of her flight followed her without question. After destroying their lair, and exalting the entire flight to Shadowbinder she was still not satisfied. As she went to leave the now blood stained area she noticed something, a nest. She was about to destroy the eggs when she noticed that there was only one intact. It was this that made her stop in her tracks, what if this is what had happened to her? What if she was not abandoned but what was to be her flight was murdered like this?

Rose brought the egg with her and guarded it closely waiting for it to hatch. A tiny white and black guardian hatched from the egg, the hatchling looked weak but something made her decide to raise the hopeless thing. After several months she decided to name the hatchling Aoroen and treated her like her own daughter. If Rose had not found her then undoubtedly she would still be raiding Light flights even if it had cost her own life.

Now Rose continues to lead her flight, with Aoroen to aid her. She had never reconnected with Graav after the raids but allows him to help manage the flight. She spends most her time sleeping now and lets the younger dragons take care of everything.
