Clan Leader | greedy * openminded * adaptable

Leader of the Clan. Sly, clever and forever sarcastic. Extremely skilled at sleight of hand, and completely obsessed with treasure. Not to wear it or flaunt it or even use it, no, just to have it. All of it.

Rumor was banished from his previous clan due to his penchant for borrowing shiny items for an indefinite amount of time from other clan members, not to mention adamantly denying he had done so when confronted about it. Nonchalant, Rumor had shrugged his wings, mind already envisioning larger clans with richer treasure.

The gravity of his actions would only hit him later, when his younger sister Whisper insisted on sharing his plight. An appeal he could not deny her, as Whisper suffered from an affliction partially paralysing her, rendering her unable to talk, fly or even the full range of movement of her crests, which Fae so heavily depend on to communicate. Without him, she'd have no one who'd ever understand her.

Suddenly the banishment ceased to be a grand adventure, and became a desperate struggle for survival. Clan after clan rejected them, having been forewarned of his obsession with treasure and the flagrant methods he'd use to posses it. Heart heavy with guilt, Rumor used the last measly remnant of his treasure to hire a mercenary to protect them. With Fossil by their side, their chances increased.

One faithful day they ran into Moxie, who would've eaten Rumor on the spot if it had not been for Fossil's swift intervention. Rumor fell in love instantly, and not much time passed before they had their first clutch of two eggs. The beginning of their own clan.

And the rest is history.

-Rumor and Whisper are not, in fact, related by blood. They were hatched at the same time, but that does not make them any less brother and sister.
