Ikatere is the lead hunter of the clan, leading the other hunters far afield to fish and gather insects and foliage for the increasing number of dragons. He has an unerring sense of direction and takes his duties as leader very seriously, often putting himself in danger to protect and deflect damage from his hunters. Ikatere also trains familiars to assist in the hunt, and has a keen eye for which familiars are will take instruction the best.

Should the Ashwound ever go to war, Excolo has her eye on Ikatere as a possible strategist and warlord.
