In a small nunnery tucked into the cliffs of Reedcleft Ascent, Malta was recognized at an early age for her pinpoint prophecies. Rumor has it that on multiple occasions, Malta was possessed by the spirit of the Windsinger himself, predicting powerful storms and unpredictable changes in the energy around Sornieth. As Malta has grown older, however, the Windsinger has turned out to be more of an absent father than a holy spirit. Malta is frequently exasperated with the deity, although she can certainly empathize with his love for adventure. Without his winds whispering in her ear, the mystic has gradually shirked her divine duties in favor of getting to know the communities around her temple. She uses her remaining abilities to whip up a weather forecast or predict the year's harvest. All the same, it seems the Windsinger's love for camaraderie and adventure has possessed Malta to find home in quaint Corona — a fate that the prophet herself did not foresee.
