Biography
Glauke was one who's heart strive for the sea and all that it held under the lapping and rippling waves and tides.
Not that she would dare abandon her home upon the earth and with her mate, but sometimes she would look out unto the sea and wonder, just wonder, how it would be to be free back with the water in which she loved so dearly. Yet she had never came from the sea, born for a knowledge and more earthly destiny. But the sea did call for her, and sometimes, she sung back some songs in reply to appease the yearn in her heart to return.
Maybe it had been fate to call her to such of a thing, and maybe it was her own foolish belief that she belonged out there in the blues and greens and white foam caps that covered the waves. But in the end, she merely enjoyed her home by crystals and on land, glancing out and enjoying the view of the home in which she would have loved to be.
Glauke is a dragon, even of Arcane of element, that strives for the sea. She loves the water and just the beauty that the water once possessed under its waves. Gods once made the sea home, and that home she wished to see. However, she was born and remained on land to follow such of a demanding life that it brought. She is a steady and strong heart for a dragon, sometimes a bit too callous in response to others -most of it being nothing personal to them. Her mate, Alkyoneus , does sometimes rub off on her from time to time. But it could be the sea in her heart demanding to take nothing and give nothing back when one has not earned that right. Her element allows for some knowledge know-how, though most of it has to do with keeping the order and peace of the lair and clan in which she and others call home. She is not, by far, the head of this lair, letting a more council like decisions be the head. Everyone has a say and such. She also is the cooling part of the lair, when others seemed ready at others' throats. She does not adhere to violence being demonstrate, but still see to whatever power is needed to keep the peace. She often drapes herself quite easily with trinkets and silk-wear that she so covet and sometimes selfishly adores. It reminds her of the Goddesses and Immortals of the stories who made and wore such fine goods. Sometimes, it allows to her think she is where she wants to be.
