Niagara is the Matriarch of the Moonlit Cove, she protects the clan with all her might and claw. She is especially protective of the clan's hatchlings, since she lost almost all of her hatchlings to a vicious hurricane that swept over their home. She was born to an Arcane clan, but she was always drawn to the water. She was always fascinated by the way the waves swept over rocks or how lively a tidepool is. She left her home in the Arcane clan and ventured toward the Tidelord's lair.

She fit in well with other water dragons, she was able to easily catch fish and swim in the waters. Even though she wasn't born with underwater breathing abilities, she was still able to swim quite well in the deeper waters.

She's an incredibly strong leader, she has led her clan to victory against attacking clans and animals many times. Although she has suffered many injuries, she still fights with all her might, putting herself in danger for her whole clan. Because of her experience of venturing to the water clan when she was younger, she takes in any dragon from any clan. She understands how they feel when they come to her and she wants to give them protection and a home.
