The fearless leader of the flight , Kepi is a brilliant fighter and enjoys doing so. She is brutal and terrifying when put in a position to defend. She may not be the most intelligent of dragons, but she is a deadly force to be reckoned with. She is very skilled with all sorts of physical attacks, and her speed allows her to move almost undetected.

No one knows where the fearsome mirror came from. While some speculate that she was created from a stray bolt of lightning straight from the storm catcher himself, others think that she was simply a lost hatchling that made her way to the lightning flight. Regardless, it was pretty obvious that they quick tempered female could easily make it on her own.

Kepi cleared out a cave embedded in the sheer rock of a close by cliffside, just outside of the badlands. With a work ethic almost mirroring her patron deity, Kepi soon managed to build up her own clan. It was during the time where she had just completed her cliffside home, that she met her first mate; a mirror like her named Adonis.

He managed to woo her with his power and strength, proving that he was very capable of leading the flight as her mate. Things went rather well for awhile, but it soon became very apparent that the two were of a very different mindset. While the lightning patterned beauty was very quick tempered, strict, and no nonsense, she was still fairly compassionate (even if it meant showing it in her own way). When it came time for their first clutch of eggs to hatch, Adonis truly began to show his true colors.

While the arcane patterned dragon was indeed powerful, he was even more malicious than his mate. The male dragon wasn't content to rule over their small clan. No, the large mirror began dabbling in dark magic in an attempt to one day conquer the surrounding clans, accepting nothing short of being hailed as a deity himself. As such, when the clutch of eggs conceived by Kepi, turned out to not live up to his standards, the poor hatchlings were killed.

Kepi, who hadn't been home when this horrible event occurred, having been out to scavenge for food, managed to save one of her hatchlings. This hatching was sent off to live with an old friend of hers to protect her. However, the action caused Kepi to go into a blind rage, causing her to lash out at anyone and everyone. Kepi fought Adonis for the position she had given him, winning the fight for dominance and placing herself as the leader of the clan.

It took the clan nearly two years to recover from Adonis's attack, but time heals wounds and Kepi was eventually able to find herself a new mate. Through a suggestion by her advisor, Kepi decided to keep Adonis alive, if for no other reason than to keep an eye on him. Amaya is still working on the rather icy heart of her leader, hoping that one day the tough mirror will have joy again.

In the best interest of the clan, Kepi eventually decided it was time to move their tiny weyr to a more hospitable flight. Although the tempest mirror is still loyal and of a more-like mindset to the lightning flight, the environment was simply not hospitable to raising young. Gathering her crew, Kepi began the migration to the Nature flight. The clan face many hardships in their wake, but eventually made it to their destination.

It took some convincing the Gladekeeper that small lightning weyr should be able to change loyalties, but the Gladekeeper took compassion and granted permission to the clan. It didn't take them too much longer to locate an ideal spot, and then small weyr soon found an alcove near a stream in the gladeveins just on the border of the everbloom gardens. With so many fauna and plant life around, their is an abundance of food and clean air. A perfect place to raise the hatchlings.

However, Kepi does miss the hard work and atmosphere of her old flight, occasionally taking trips to visit.

Kepi has calmed down quite a bit. With Adonis safely under control, the leader has allowed herself some happiness. She has taken a new mate, one who ironically had tried to oust her from her position, and the two have an odd romantic relationship full of sharp words and witty banter. Kepi was finally able to produce her first natural born child with Hyrum and loves both Aris and her adopted son LiveWire, with all her heart. She is still as strong as ever, but she has begun to train her son to be the next heir.

As time has gone on, and Kepi has entered her 50's her small Weyr has become a thriving civilization. Long gone are the days of living in caves like beats. Homes have been built, taverns, a library, a post office! Aerowen's knowledge has proven incredibly useful, and along with LiveWire's engineering skills, the two have worked to make the clan a better place. While Kepi still yearns for the more primal days, she has to admit she's proud of how the clan has grown and evolved. Her only concerns now are some of the new residents and for her children as they grow and forge their own path.
