Biography
Guinevere
Elegant, Polite, distant, calm, narrow-minded, straight-forward
Sounds like: Malory Archer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9EiV3EPLy0
Forever Mate: Anthony the Wildclaw
Guinevere is the Matriarch of Gem Vertagus. A few dragons might believe she was raised in a lovely castle filled with silver platters and huge chandeliers in the center of a huge, classical ball room. That is not the case. She was born in just a regular old nest like a regular old dragon. She grew up without a mother or father, just a human. There is no clear reason how Guinevere grew up to live a lifestyle of purity and prejudice against other dragons without the genes she preferred.
Guinevere is usually quiet about her feelings, staying in her den and often not socializing with her clan mates. She knows that many a dragon would hate someone like her, and she keeps that in mind when meeting with company, only standing stoic, and politely nodding her head.
She enjoys the company of children, though she has been known to be disappointed when a hatchling of her very own did not come out looking the way she liked. She knows very well it is not their own fault, and only blames herself for everything. Her only comfortable place is the safety of her cave, listening to classical songs.
She does not back down form a fight. She cares deeply for her clan, and as a leader of it, she knows that means sacrificing herself for them, leading them, and keeping them safe and inside their territory. She does not give second chances often, and thinks ahead of herself before making decisions most of the time, hoping not to make a fool of herself in the process.
Guinevere has suitors within her clan. However, she is very picky. Each season, she looks on towards the males with the impressive or more favorable genes that might look good with hers, creating desirable eggs for future generations. She has not claimed a long-term relationship yet, and has only bred with another dragon once, dropping the relationship and trying her best to forget it. Not only did she believe she was not thinking straight with her first mate, but also she did not like the outcome of the eggs. She is looking, quietly in her den, only taking interest when a interested male comes knocking on her cave. She can be pretty blunt about what she wants, and very vague on how she feels.
She thinks tears are a waste of time, and toughens herself up whenever she is around others. She tries to keep an intimidating images, trying to prove that she is not a dragon to be trifled with.
