☼ Harbringer's parents intended her name to be Harbinger, however her dyslexia made her think it was Harbringer, and the name ended up sticking. She normally prefers to go by Harb, however. ☼ Harb is incredibably fond of children, and can struggle to say no to them; however given a lot of effort and time, has started to learn how to. ☼ Having once struggled to try to find a charge, Harbringer set a strict rule about how charge-less guardians would be treated within her clan. The clan also has a lax nature about expecting them to find charges; and other standards for the other breeds are rarely regarded as welcome in the clan. |

A kind and gentle soul, Harb founded the clan on accident but is very happy with it and her general spot in life because of it. Family oriented, and considering the whole clan to be family, she is nearly endlessly patient with the clan members, and welcoming of any newcomer. Part of her general friendliness is a mask to hide insecurities, about her dyslexia and once failure to be a "proper" guardian.
While typically quite nice, Harbringer is relentless in a fight and won't hesitate to deal with any threat until it is gone for good.

Harbringer is quite content in life now, even as the clan starts to slow down in it's gained members and as others break away and leave. Happy to see things out and trusting in the process, she's only after small cosmetic changes.

Born to traditional parents, Harbringer was raised like a "proper" guardian, to find her charge. It was supposedly the least she could do, especially after hatching in a weak state and for her struggles to learn to read. While she got stronger, she couldn't shake a feeling of incredible wrongness. Her brother, Omen, was a constant source of bullying; and despite that, only felt more lonely when he left. Eventually her parents returned to their own charges. Alone Harbringer tried to get herself together, and started trying to find her charge. It took the guardian a long time to explore the entirety of the Tangled Wood. Once she did, she stumbled upon a fae named Banana, who offered no answers about her own past, but offered company in the search. Eventually, Banana convinced Harb to venture into the Scarred Wasteland, suggesting that her charge may be in another region. The trip ended up resulting in the pair taking in a young mirror, who they named Nonagon, but no charge.
From there, Harb and Banana ended up taking in more young dragons, and gained the help of a coatl named Iris. Harb and Banana had a clutch of their own, resulting in their son, Pumpkin. Even as the youngest of the hatchlings grew up and became teenagers, the three adults were having their talons full at every step of the way, and Iris offered to look for more help. She stumbled upon Baskor and Hallo, a pair close to Harbringer and Banana's age; and the first thing they suggested was for the group to have an established lair. The five quickly agreed, and oldest of the younger dragons were happy to watch after the youngest. With a set home, expansion started again. Baskor and Hallo had children of their own; an old friend of Iris, Duena moved into the lair; and the clan adopted more young dragons. Despite her pride at the clan and little family that she had made, Harb knew she hadn't found her charge.
Then word of the Dustcarve Dig reached the clan. Tabitha, a ridgeback adopted in before getting a lair, and Butcher, a mirror who was adopted afterwards, joined Harbringer on the event; Harb letting Tabitha take lead. The dig resulted in the discovery the obelisks, and the clan gained Yin as an ally. Happy to be part of the small clan, Yin quickly got involved in the clan's leadership; and quickly became a friend to Harbringer. The two talked for hours about anything, personal worries included. In their talks, Yin noted that Harb's pride at her clan, and how good she was about defending it, felt more similar to the way obelisks thought. Protecting many things, instead of one single thing. His words resonated with Harb, and eventually she came to the conclusion that she wanted to become an obelisk herself. But the clan came first. Yin eventually confided in her that he had no idea what the threat he was supposed to protect them from was, and of the nightmares that plagued his sleep; which felt more akin to omens from the Earthshaker. Harbringer thought that if the clan was in Dragonhome, then perhaps he'd understand the warnings. And she could sense his homesickness despite his loyalty to the clan; Yin missed his birth place. The council talked, and eventually the vote was spread to the whole clan on if they stayed or moved; and the vote was to move. The expansion came to a halt, only gaining a few specific professions to aid in the move.
The move ended, and the clan settled; they picked a name, Clan Devium Animarum; but Harbringer kept dragging her feet on her goals. Until Banana swooped in and reminded her that she needed to take care of herself. Harb listened, and finally focused on her transition. Once she did, Harb felt happy and free. Not long after, Banana realized she wanted to become a pearlcatcher, and Harb ensured that she didn't wait. One day however, she was reunited with her brother. Omen and his charge, an engineer named Turing, joined the clan. Turing was what the clan had needed and both were welcomed in; but Harb and Omen were both unhappy to see each other. Omen knew well enough to not challenge his sister however, for Turing's sake. The two mostly tried to avoid each other and when they couldn't, hide the tension well.
From her clan, smaller groups started to break off: the Shadow Isles Circus, a group of merchants in the Churnscar Warf, and a now disbanded group of pirates.
