Biography
Original host of the Augmortem strain.
Plaguebringer gave Aegror a special task - to make sure her sacred Augmortem strain spread itself throughout Sornieth. To carry the Augmortem strain is to become Augmort. An Augmort can sense death by contagion by supernatural means. They track the epidemiology of Plaguebringer's creations on their travels throughout the land and report back to the great churn of the Wyrmwound to tell her of success, and more informatively, failure.
The Augmortem strain ravaged Aegror at its full strength, turning her once beautifully veined hide into carrion, which she then invited others to consume. Each dragon who consumes a shred of her flesh is gifted with the ability to carry the Augmortem strain, and now Aegror cares for her fellow Augmorts by making sure they are well-fed in order to avoid getting consumed by their contagion-ravenous maws since she is so ragged to the bone. They are a tiresome and troublesome yet well-loved bunch, hardened, sharpened, and acidified by their information-gathering quests.
Aegror has sequestered herself from the rest of the clan due to the ravages of the Augmortem strain, yet it has allowed her to see through their eyes the many adventures and quests they have undertaken in the name of their collective mother of miasma.
