Biography

The Warrior


A stubborn, spirited young dragon, Maize is the third of Staticstem's hunters, patrolling with Silver and

Twilight to keep the work of the engineers safe and undisturbed behind their curtain of fog and static.

Unlike the other two, Maize actually holds an interest in the construction of the radio tower, and bugs

Slate for electrical training in her spare time.

Though she's a good-natured dragon within the clan, once Maize puts on her helmet to hunt, she

becomes a silent and truly intimidating hunter, taking down beasts of any size with swift, bladed claws.

If Silver and Twilight didn't know her, the sight of her armet would send chills down their wings.

The fifth and youngest dragon to join the Staticstem clan, Maize heard the humming voice of the

Transmitter from deep below the sea, where she'd been reluctantly training to learn how to scry. Maize

wasn't cut out for the quiet, contemplative life of scrying, and decided she'd much rather follow the call

of adventure, which led her out to the Quiet Zone.
