Higure Jpn: Twilight

Higure hatched near the border between the Tangled Wood and the Sunbeam Ruins, so her first sight was filled with a mix of darkness and light. Even though she was from Shadow and darkness was in her blood, she was never able to pick between light or dark, and set up her lair near the border between the two.

She is rather peaceful in nature, kind and caring; though every full moon, a darkness within her takes over, turning her into something else. This being is nothing but a pure lust for blood that doesn't stop until it claims a life each night. With no control over this dark side, she tends to lock herself away somewhere until morning, when the darkness will fade on its own until next moon.

While on one of her daily strolls through the lands, she came across a battle between two dragons. Due to her peace-loving demeanor, she instantly got between them to stop the fighting. After hearing that it was a battle between light and dark with one aiming to plunge the world into darkness and the other trying to protect the light, Higure couldn't help but feel reminded of her own inner battle.

She pleaded with the two, to quit fighting over light vs dark, but rather come together, letting the two blend as one; saying how the darkness rules in the Tangled Wood, yet why should it destroy everything else if it has its own niche in which to thrive. The same goes for the light; it has conquered the Sunbeam Ruins, though doesn't try to spread. The rest of the world experiencing both light and dark in even cycles of day and night. After Higure's speech, Shoushi, the dark loving dragon, and Akatsuki the defender of light, decided she was right and that Shoushi would take to the night, where darkness ruled, giving him his wish in a way.

Making sure he would keep his word, Higure decided to keep tabs on Shoushi and checked on him from time to time, making it sound as if she was merely checking on a friend. Apparently, she wasn't the only one weary of the dark dragon, as Aktasuki would also come by on occasion. Eventually, the lie turned to truth, as the visits led to the three becoming friends and settling in together as a clan in the Tangled Wood.
