THE RESEARCHER

PERSONALITY Cxarva may pass for a dragon in most ways, but there is still something in her that is inherently different. She struggles to fully empathize with others, and does not view death with the same severity as many. She studies the Resort for lack of anything better to do, and many of her experiments are disrespectful or even cruel in nature. She once blew up a wing of the Resort, only for the building to restructure itself as the living denizens slept. She has also tried numerous times to infect the questionably-living denizens of the Resort with disease, to little success. HISTORY Cxarva is the product of two intermingled diseases, given draconic form. Unlike her predecessors, she developed a full consciousness and can very well be considered a dragon - albeit one with strange mannerisms and moralities. The clan of her birth would have been loathe to see her as anything but an experiment, and when she came to terms with that truth as a young adult, she quickly slipped out of their claws. Like many dragons with nowhere to call home, she spent most of her time wandering, discovering Sornieth, and hoping faintly that she would one day find acceptance. During the course of her journey, she discovered a strong knack for science, and began keeping a journal to detail her discoveries and (sometimes needlessly cruel) experiments. She had been studying and experimenting on various animals native to the Southern Icefield when the blizzard rolled in. The composition of her body puts her at risk of being torn apart in high winds, and while that isn't inherently a death sentence, she was not eager to relive the pain she had once experienced in the Twisting Crescendo. While searching for shelter, she came upon the Resort, and has been trapped on its grounds ever since. |

CONNECTIONS
| Cxarva initially latched onto Vifian because the Imperial took an immediate liking to her. However, for a dragon who had never had much in the way of positive emotional feedback at all, being around someone who wanted to be near her proved satisfyingly addictive, and they quickly went from friends to mates. |
| While Caonach dislikes Cxarva's occasional needless cruelty and doesn't trust the Spiral, Cxarva is rather fond of him. She sees him as an equal of sorts, a fellow young scientist trying to make his way in the world. |
