Nemali Court Dancer Charming | Elusive | Transactional Nemali always wanted a better life than wandering the rocky plains of Dragonhome. At the Colonnades of Antiquity, she thought she might get her start. Amongst the bustling bazaars, circus jugglers, and hawkers, she was just another wildclaw dancer seeking treasure and gems. She found very little in the way of money as she discovered archaeologists weren't that interested in the arts. Lingering eyes suggested they were interested in something, though. The movement of her hips. The sliding gossamer cloth across her tail. A hooded, matched gaze filled with promise. A skittish scholar would never proposition her in public, but Nemali learned how to encounter them casually, alone. Exhausting research and digs meant little time for real relaxation and certainly no time for bonding and intimacy. But, a night... Well, Nemali found that with the right words, a smile, and a touch, any of the poor archaeologists she picked were willing to pay to be her mate for a night. The bad thing about easily seduced scholars was, however... They easily became overly-attached, as well. Staying at the archaeological digs was a powder keg for drama. Once Nemali secured a nice nest egg to travel with, she vanished on the next merchant's cart. The Colonnades were a certain circumstance that had allowed her to thrive with her profession. She simply had to find another place quite like that. Perhaps a place like... a castle? There is no shortage of clients in Alzada'al for Nemali and her dancing comes requested by nobility and royal family alike. She has found motherhood not quite fitting, though, and hatchlings a consequence. There is a bit of guilt in releasing them into the service of the crown and Arcanist, but Nemali can't afford to dwell on that. |
