Kalfur remembers little of being a hatchling apart from being on her own. She fluttered around welcoming clans of wind dragons that showed her kindness and comfort, like that befitting or the parents she never knew. Never forgetting this generosity, a young Mirror male asked to join her for a short while when she was building a den in zephyr steps, she accepted without hesitation, especially with the thought of having a family.

More dragons joined that she welcomed with open arms, and soon she realized that she had become the matriarch to a clan. With this and a nest soon to hatch she felt elated.

Her relationship with Toreth the Mirror male strengthened despite the hostility their breed were known for. She had thought that he would leave after their eggs had hatched but he continued to stay, happy feelings bubbled up inside when the thought of him not leaving was their, then she realized that perhaps the reason he wanted to stay was just to raise and watch their young grow. Feeling let down she thought that what she felt wasn't just the loss of a friend but of someone she viewed higher than that.

On one particular day she was brooding over this fact, Toreth confessed that he wanted to be not just a one time mate but permanent as he loved her. Overjoyed with this she felt De ja vu as she accepted him again without hesitation.

Kalfur now continues to watch over her clan with Toreth and is looking forward to future 'Puffs'.
