SuperMeltyCheese (SMC to his close friends) has always known the way to great tasting food. He was born into it, after all. His mother and father are the sovereigns of a vast kingdom of tastes and smells, and he one of that kingdom's youngest princes. Already he shows promise in the culinary arts and is taking great chances and leaps of faith with his cooking. At the tender age of hatchlinghood, he christened himself after his favorite food and decided to make his way in the world. He vowed to his parents that he would keep alive their passion for the unexpected and the wondrous.

One evening he visited a travelling circus very near the home lair. He purchased some concessions and eagerly awaited their taste. What he bit into was a moist, tasteless bit of fried dough. Appalled and unnerved, he marched right to the proprietor of the circus and laid out his bitter grievances. Rather than be angry back at him, the older snapper asked young SMC what he would do. Without missing a breath, SMC responded that of course he would add some bourbon buttered brisket of herdbeast to the menu, along with a custard peppered with jalapenos and maple syrup. The old circus manager seemed to look at the youngster, sizing up his resolve, before putting him to the challenge of making dinner for the troupe.

Excited and slightly terrified, SMC rose to the challenge and prepared a feast the likes of which no one in that circus had ever tasted. The circus manager proclaimed it to be "circus food, if ever there was circus food", and offered SMC the post of the circus' chef, with unlimited run of the cookhouse and ultimate say in what food was made and served to the customers. Delighted, SMC accepted and has made the Blacktoe Circus famous for more than just its amazing performances. While watching the acts, why not enjoy some brined popcorn, or perhaps a turnover stuffed with gooey cheese and bits of apple? Whatever you get, it's sure to take you to that famed town we all seek.
