~Informant~


Nils first sought out the Outpost as a supplicant for territory, wishing to claim a nearby part of the Hewn City, but aware of a stronger Albino Effluvial presence in the area that he didn't wish to offend. Intrigued by his good manners and boldness, Hvitnavethi ceded a section she wouldn't mind losing to him in exchange for samples of his viral strain and his services as an informant formally unaffiliated with the Outpost.

After that, he impressed her time and again with his wit and slyness, and so, when he saw his chance and formally sought permission to court her, she granted his request... with the caveat that he would remain the subordinate partner in the mateship. Nils, knowing that she far outclassed him and not having had any problems with his servitude so far, took no issue with this.

It suits both of them to have a primarily intellectual mateship; often distant from each other, but secure in the knowledge that the other would support and protect them and their hatchlings should the need arise.
