The lonely samurai




One of the original founders of the clan, Maelstrom is a rather unique and mysterious individual. He seems to have the ability to regenerate his own body, and has uncanny, animal-keen senses. Though he is a reliable ally and a capable leader and mentor, he is reluctant to accept such roles willingly, he is often irreverent and outright rebellious towards figures of authority, and has a difficult time accepting such roles himself. He is cranky and has a temper, but he has a good heart. He has a natural tendency towards solitude, and sporadically leaves the clan on his own to deal with personal issues or problems.
Maelstrom has a mysterious and troubled past riddled with death and betrayal- one that he remembers almost nothing about. He has spent many years of his life wandering around the world, trying to find answers about his life and what it is that drives him to continue to live- though this has proven an extremely difficult and even dangerous task at times. His natural skills in combat make him an exceptional fighter, and it seems as though he has been trained in numerous fighting styles and is proficient with most weaponry, though he is partial to bladed weapons.
