Vanimaista

The matriarch of the clan, Vanimaista is a powerful dragon who protects her kin at any cost. She is proud to be of the nature flight, as she has a soft spot for flora. She's known for her patience with plants, and lack thereof with enemy dragons.

Although she loves her clan members, she frequently forgets Narylfiel and Tithdaeron when they leave on gathering expeditions.

Born from an abandoned egg on a crumbling ice floe, all that Vanimaista remembers of her days as a hatchling is the lonliness of ice and the ocean. Due to rising atmospheric temperatures in the year of her hatching, the glaciers of the Southern Icefield began to melt and break apart, drifting into the sea. She was carried northeast, towards the coasts and rivers of the mainland, until she washed up in the Viridian Labyrinth.

The Lady Gladekeeper was also suffering in the heat, and took Vanimaista into the Flight as a reminder to other dragons that nature should be protected. Since then, Vanimaista has dedicated her time to raising a clan that understands the importance of scavenging, recycling, and nurturing the world. She has her own small garden within the Labyrinth, which she tends to with much fondness and care.

Although she has a gentle and nurturing side, she has a short temper.
