Sawbones, one of the founders of the clan, may be of impressive size and gruff looking demeanor, but (unlike his mate) can be described all in all as an easygoing individual. Sawbones wears the Infectionist's emblem, which marks him as one of the co-leaders, with pride. As a Guardian, he naturally sees it as his duty to protect his fellow dragons from all outside threats, be it Beastclan members or his own kind - and he certainly has the muscles to do so! But don't worry, he is usually warm and welcoming to any weary traveller that have the courage to cross the Wangering Contagion. Even though dedicated to his dragons, his actual charge is Linnet. The two had met while Linnet recovered from a bad wound with his former clan and the large Guardian found himself quickly drawn to her firm demeanor. Linnet knows what she wants and how she wants it, and he admires her for that. While first interactions were slightly tense, Linnet equally found herself charmed by the hardy, dedicated Guardian that insisted on following her travels. He's had a few hatches so far, one of his three firstborn immediatly leaving to serve the Plague Mother, the other joining a different clan whose path had crossed theirs and decided to live with them. The third, his oldest daughter Balthasar, still lives within the clan, taking up on running errands and working hard to earn the respect of the others and take the place of her father once he retires. Sawbones doesn't worry too much about those who left their clan, convinced that whatever they do, they do it well. |
