Found by Snicker when she still lived in the HiddenMica clan, Cry was discovered along scarcely a day from the egg as she traveled across the Southern Icefields. Assuming that he had either wandered away from his nest or abandoned, she made an attempt to find his family before she took him with her when she went back home. A rather fussy hatchling on the trip, Snicker referred to him affectionately as Crybaby and as he grew older it was shortened to Cry and he stuck with the name. He was raised by the trio, Meila, Purr, and Snicker with Snicker’s mate Grumble assisting when needed. He was quite the pessimistic dragon and this dour outlook on life was only strengthened when his first mate Laugh left him for the more light-hearted Giggle. After Laugh there was Symphony and while they were happy for a time she eventually left to serve the Shadowbinder leaving him alone once again. Feeling as if he was doomed to a life of unhappiness if he stayed, he sought out Grumble and Snicker new clan hoping to return to some semblance of the happiness he had in his younger days. They welcomed him with open arms and Cry could have even sworn that Grumble cracked a smile upon seeing him. 
Going between the Udbāẏī Sector and the Sanctuary, Cry found the opportunity to make friends with those who didn’t have problems with his rather negative look on life. He took on work as a go between trader for the Fire Sector and its Sanctuary. Given that he can handle most of his trader job on the road he travels with Bao’s flagship crew as a lookout/early warning system as his ice heritage makes him better suited to seeing through adverse weather conditions. He enjoys the good natured joking that goes around on the ship and while he has not found another mate at this current moment in time, he seems more content in the company of his fellow ship mates more than he ever was in either of his previous relationships. Perhaps he doesn’t need to change his skeptical outlook on life to make his presence palatable to others. |
Personality & Relationships: Cry is a rather pessimistic individual about just about everyone but his friends. He believes that his intimate relationships are doomed to failure and seems determined to stay single for the time being claiming his family and friends are enough to keep him happy.

More on Cry: He doesn’t begrudge Laugh finding a new mate in Giggle but he did wish she had left him as soon as she realized they were not compatible. He works under Gulya when he’s in the Udbāẏī Sector and Xavneiros when in the Sanctuary. He doesn’t smile unless he is with friends. Otherwise at best he has a neutral expressing or looks sad. He enjoys being in high up places on the ships. He is a decent archer but by no means one of the best in either clan. He helps the Mercenary Guild determine prices for loot that is meant to be sold and works with Jacquotte to find safe places to sell it without detection. He seems to be a magnet for dragons who want to make him happy. He avoids them at all costs. |
