Cosmos

The Director

The overly enhusiastic director of the Library of the Nephilim. His job is to keep order within the Library and arrange the shelves by subject, author and date of writing. He's the creation of The Arcanist himself, born from pure cosmical energy, personally designed to do his job perfectly. At least, that's what he tells everyone. After he lost all his previous work and his entire family in a brutal beastclan ambush, he was left alone with his granddaughter, Mitera, to start his life over. He warmly welcomes every new addition to the clan, and as more and more faces surround him, he seems to grow less and less uneasy each day.
He's an utterly stuck-up person, who loves to boast and exaggerate. Generally gentle and kind to strangers and acquaintances, Cosmos can be extremely annoying to the dragons who actually know him; he loves to complain and talk about trivial or unbelievably boring things for hours. At the sight of unknown and new things he gets way too excited and has an urge to examine/touch/taste/document the thing. He has an unsatiable thirst for knowledge, and whenever he has a day off, he goes out to hunt for information about the outside world, fresh news and rumors, or goes market to market for new books. On his little trips, he's always escorted by his clanmates who try to keep him out of serious trouble. His sense of danger is nonexistent. He holds the record of almost-getting-himself-killed with the amazing 5 times in a single night. Cosmos usually tends to speak and act in a very fancy and highfaluting way, but whenever he's forced to drop his annoying facade (usually by Uria), he can actually be quite fun to hang out with, and reveals that he does, in fact, have a great sense of humor. Just don't ever ask him what a Nephilim is.
Even though he mostly goes by the name "Cosmos", his clanmates usually just call him "Bogar", his little known real name. One of his hobbies is giving fancy job names to each of the students and guardians around the Library, even if the titles he gives don't cover the truth at all, he likes to sound ~professional~. Officially he's the director and head librarian around, but "unofficially" he's also a teacher of arcane magic, astronomy, lore and history who's willing to make pretty much anyone his apprentice - and his students claim he's a surprisingly good tutor. He's especially fond of his elk, Vapiti, who truly always listens to him.
