Gild Gem's Dealer Trades Opaltopian Gems|Is rather Cold|Blind

Gild has had many loves come and go, many family members died on her, she has seen hardship and has had adventure, sometimes her trauma and bad experiences from the past force her to be a very cold dragon however her love for her mate/husband Ivor shows off her sweeter side. He is often not able to protect himself and so she will do it for him. No one gets the chance to bully him and many fear her and him due to her reputation of being drastically overprotective. Even though she loves Ivor with all of her being she demands the last say and control, due to Gilds trauma she needs control, being blind makes her come across as weak but when Gild gets going nothing can stop her! Her other senses are strong enough making it appear as if she has super powers. You cannot gossip around Gild she will hear it!

When Gild was a young hatchling her mother was taken by bandits that raided her village, she watched her beloved mother being brutally murdered and has never recovered. One of the Bandits attempted to take her but she fought him off long enough for her father to save her but not long enough to save her eyes as the bandit scratched them out. She has been blind ever since. She couldn't stay with the village after everything went down, she needed to get away from all of the trauma and so moved to Opaltopia with some friends. Even though Gild is blind she is perfectly capable of everything and never needs or excepts help. She fell in love with a male named Navy when she first came to Opaltopia but unfortunately he passed away after joining the army. She spent a lot of time alone grieving for her lost love but the moment she met Ivor she fell deeply in love and she has not gone back since. Ivor helped her overcome so much trauma and so much grief, she couldn't be happier now.

Gild is a Gems Dealer, her company is very popular within Opaltopia. She has many employees and has made many riches. She started as a poor hatchling living in a tiny village often raided by bandits and became one of the richest dragons in Opaltopia that isn't Royalty. She and her first mate started the business and bought one of the Mines that everyone assumed was dead for a few gold pieces and made everyone eat their words. She is proud of herself and is an absolute Queen!! Once you can get over her cold and somewhat authoritative nature you can really see the gems within Gild!

First off I love Tori Kelly, I sing and have looked up to her for years. I chose this song because it took a very long time for Gild to be able to love and feel safe in loving someone and then when Navy passed away it destroyed the safety of love for her again so this song is for Ivor and the way he has helped her to be able to love again. I chose this version of the song because of the passion, If Gild were to sing it she would sing it like Tori.

Panic Room
So in my mind this song represents Gilds Trauma and the horror that she went through as a hatchling. It was her mindset for a long time as her mind filled with panic. It is also a song I am obsessed with!
