Biography

Incidium
Elder
male | bisexual

Incidium used to be all about fighting. He used to fight for pleasure, to prove he's the best. He used to fight for the sake of fighting.

Used to.

It wasn't until he picked a fight with some stray beastclans that he realized his mistake. In the dead of night, they were assaulted by harpies, tengu and raptoriks. He had to watch as members of his clan fell, one by one. He fought on, though, his speed allowing him to narrowly avoid certain death. While the rest of his clan was slaughtered, he barely escaped with his life intact, and when he returned there was no one left. Buried under the tattered remains of a carnival banner, he found a single fire egg.

He had since spent his time rescuing and raising hatchlings, and repairing his shattered home. Some of his clanmates sought to travel to new lands, while the rest remained with him, to bring the Carnival of the Three Corners back to it's former glory.

At first, he had each clan member earn their place in the Clan through a series of Trials. If they could defeat enough Beastclan members, they were a part of the clan. This tradition quickly ended, however, when Omikane returned from her Trials blind. So, he tried to set aside his hatred for the creatures that had destroyed his home, focusing instead on keeping the Carnival running.

Upon meeting the spirit that spoke to Zazi, Incidium was firm in his refusal of allowing the clan to move... but the other dragons didn't see it that way. They weren't as reluctant to go. Outnumbering him, they made him step down from being their Guide, their deciding force. He was the oldest one in the clan, so he must be senile, right?

Things are changing. The stripes on this dragon's body seem to writhe and shift. He looks worn, exhausted. Perhaps it's best to leave him to mourn. For what? Who knows.
