Biography
Firstly This lore bit was written by EmeraldJubilee
Big thanks to them!
Toril had a love for wildlife from a young age. And while Dragonhome is rich in biodiversity, it didn't have the plants and animals that captured her imagination from the ink of parchment paper. So, when Toril was just barely an adult, she packed up and moved to the Viridian Labyrinth.
There, she used her expertise in outdoor survival and her knowledge of the wild fauna to get an apprenticeship under a well-known Beast Tamer. Though still only 'just' an apprentice, Toril shows great enthusiasm and promise in her field. She knows how to maintain the balance of an ecosystem while giving their customers the familiars they desire, and loves nothing more than helping a hatchling discover their first familiar.
She actually found her current familiar in the Viridian Labyrinth, while on a hunt, even. The Scorchpaw Prowler wasn't their objective, so Toril and her mentor left it alone when they spotted in a clearing. However, they weren't unaware of how it followed them after. The two rangers assumed it was stalking them, trying to determine if they were prey or see them out of its territory, and once more let it be. It wasn't until It followed them right back to their doorstep did Toril realize.
Toril herself is an emotive, loud, and creative dragon. She enjoys being around other dragons just as much as socializing the familiars, and who doesn't like playing with puppies? Her closest friends get the special perk of helping her get the new familiars used to multiple dragons in the same room, which can mean anything from fluffy snuggles to treating venomous bites minutes later. Toril takes it in stride, though, and certainly has quite the interesting life ahead of her.
