Quince joined the Haven early in its creation and saw a sore lack of monetary organization. Heavensent and Ulyana were constantly at arms about how to spend their money, and the clan often went without necessities like food and clothing. Quince stepped in at once, taking on the role of treasurer for himself. With a shrewd eye and excellent taste, he is quite possibly the reason the Haven has kept its morale as high as it is. He manages the wants and needs of the clan members and keeps an ongoing "wishlist" of things to purchase if they have funds to spare.

Eventually, the workload got a bit overwhelming and he's offloaded some of the specifics to his "treasurers in training," who each monitor the wishlists of specific types of items. Quince isn't sure how he feels about having a more managerial position, but it certainly gives him some much-needed time to relax.
