Clary the healer

Ever since she was hatched, she'd wanted to be a healer, just like her father.

Learning to heal was easier said than done, of course. Bandages on scrapes was one thing, but illness and greater wounds took some getting used to. Learning which plants worked and which didn't was an undertaking, but one she tried her best to do, no matter the time taken.

Perhaps it was her perfectionism talking, or perhaps it was just her coming of age, but the longer she tried, the more it felt like she could never match the skill of the craft her father wields.

And so, with a note containing profuse apologies, and a few quiet words to worried friends, Clary set off into the world. The lands of Light were abundant, but surely there were things elsewhere, weren't there?

There was a whole world to see, and once she saw it, she knew she could return home and make her father--- and herself--- proud of who she was able to become.
