The Mother
Clan Leader

As a young Fae, Kessi came across a small cave surrounded by tall trees, the entrance to which was obscured by their large trunks. The inside of the cave was spacious and filled by the glowing mushrooms that dominated the tangled wood. She decided it was the perfect place to start a clan of her own, something she had longed for since she was hatchling.

Her clan is growing steadily, welcoming dragons from all walks of life. Kessi takes her work seriously, treating all who stay in her home as her own children. Dragons pass through her lair, often staying for long periods of time before eventually moving on. Many dragons come to be trained by Kyla and Merlin, before they leave to serve the Shadowbinder. Kessi always holds large feasts before any dragon leaves for the Forum of the Obscured Crescent, the entire clan celebrates the life of the dragon and the sacrifices they are willing to make. The leaders of the clan escort exalts to the edge of the Shadowbinders Fortress giving them a birdskull headdress as a parting gift.

The Shadowbinder has noticed Kessi and her loyalty to her. She offers protection to the Glowwood Clan as long as it stays in the Tangled Wood. The Shaodowbinder has also granted her wish to change her form into the beautiful Skydancer she now lives as.
