Cree was the original progenitor for the clan. She and her best friend and mate, Escava, settled down in a cliff-side cave in Arcane to start up a new family, and the clan rapidly grew. As time went on, the cave in which the resided became too small, and without the funds to send to the Arcanist for more lair space, Escava willingly left the clan to free up space for new baby dragons to be hatched. Cree had no say on the matter and with a small kiss and a goodbye, he had gone forever to serve the Arcanist.

In the time after his leaving, Cree slipped into depression. Her duties as clan leader began to overwhelm her, and eventually she gave up on them entirely. Missy, one of the other dragons in the clan took over for her, which freed her up to deal with the loss of her mate. Perhaps not entirely healthy, she vented by stealing treasure and items from other clans.

"No amount of items I can take from others will amount to the one I lost, but by Arcanist will I try anyway."
