He is, though, just as quick to form a brotherly bond with those he gets in a good scrap with, as he respects others who are willing to stand up for themselves, regardless of their actual strength. Relatedly, he likes to foster this attitude in others, leading by example. He is quick to defend outcasts and those who seem gloomy or downcast, drawing the attention of would-be bullies with his own enthusiastic and pointedly accurate jeers.
