Biography
Mia and Voryn had been traveling for what seemed like ages. They had left their home in the Plaguelands to seek their future. Their clan line was long and bountiful and they knew they were needed elsewhere, the knowledge itched under their skin and they knew they could not rest until the quest was complete. They began their journey to the west, crossing the Starfall Isles gathering arcane secrets, and protecting each other from threats. Their clan had taught them well before they left, and they were strong and proud of their skills and their lineage, boasting of being descendants of Vitali to any who would ask.
Their eyes were always roaming, looking for a new clan. They were not sure what they sought but knew they would agree when a clan felt right. So far they had met many other interesting clans but none and lit a spark in them, or had shown any interest in the joining. So onward they flew, south to unexplored territory.
They had not realized it would be quite so cold, and grow colder still as the ice grew thicker. There were fewer dragons down here where the Shadowlands met the southern icefield. They worried their hide, used to the bubbling warmth of the Plaguelands would not be able to go further and considered turning back.
A small scraping sound turned their ears downward and sent a tingle up their backs. Together they landed, searching out the source of the sound. Curled onto a small block of ice in the frigid floes was a grey and silver fey guarding a blue mirror. Their stances belied how little training in combat they had. Voryn and Mia had not seen such simple dragons for a long time. They tried their hardest to look unthreatening. Perhaps these two were lost?
“Hello. Are you all alone out here? Where is your clan to guide and protect you? I am Mia and this is Voryn. We will not hurt you. Do you need safe passage home?”
“The little grey one hissed. We are our own clan and this is our home!”
There was a sigh from behind him. The blue snuck forward and stood proud.
“I apologize for my mate. My name is Winky and this is Meowah. We are progenitors, created by a young and delighted mind. The child quickly abandoned us though, leaving us to her mother to figure out how to live. We are simply trying to stay fed and keep our eggs warm, but do not know what else there is to do.
Mia and Voryn could feel that this was where they had been called to. They would help this small and lonely clan grow to brilliance. They would teach them to hunt and grow strong in combat and strengthen this bloodline with their own. This new place would be colder than they would have preferred, but it would be home.
Time passed, and Mia was scorned. Python was undesirable, She was overly dressed to cover her bland wings, she was no longer asked to breed or participate in events. never toss aside a weapon. A growing faction of other shunned dragons were creating an underground faction. She would be their tool. They needed her. A 'royal' assassin, she would both help the king thin the ranks of the unworthy and make sure her spot by his side stayed secure.
