Biography

SALEM-VATARHEN
It is rumored he was born of fire, gaining the ability to harness the divine light after he was terribly burned as a hatchling. He created the kingdom of Anisit alongside his best friend Rigo, but later took sole command of the kingdom with the help of trusted underlings after a few too many nasty disagreements with his other half.

Backstory
Salem was hatched by Malorn and Giera in the Hewn City Ruins under the Lightweaver, but was left an orphan after an unfortunate encounter with a few members of the nearby warring Beast-Clan. After wandering for many weeks, the abandoned hatchling wandered into the lands of the Flamecaller where he met Visp the emberglow gem guardian that has yet to leave his side. Visp cared for Salem, teaching him elemental magic and basically raising him, as they lived a secluded and nomadic life. A tragic accident where Salem faced a rebound of a powerful spell left the sides of his face and shoulders burned and permanently scared. He later painted his scars to resemble fire, hence his spicy rumor.
When Salem met Rigo, an ambitious imperial with a dark soul, they shared their emotions and aspirations, inevitably becoming as close as brothers. Visp foresaw the darkness that could poison both young drakes and sought to guide them down a clear path, leading them to the lands of the Emberglow Hearth where others gathered drawn to Salem and Rigo's youthful dreams, hence the kingdom of Anisit was founded.
