CHoxhWC.png Do not go to the depths of the Tangled Wood, traveler. There exists a web of deceit. They coax you in with sweet scents of honor and warmth, tales of power and peace, and promises of comfort and longevity. They lie. They lie, they lie, and they lie. They trap you, they corrupt you. Only when they are done, do they let you go, but by then it is too late.

I was a fool who believed. I was a moron who trusted. I was an idiot who spoke out. I saw the wrong and challenged it. For that, they struck me down. They left me to rot, but returned to care at the inch of my life. I refused, so they frowned. I was fortunate that the children of Shadowbinder witnessed and took pity, sparing my life of the evil, though as you can see not without consequence.

It is too late for me, as I am doomed to this woeful walk in the line of life and death, but it is not for you. Hear my word, spread my tale, if you would be so kind as to do a stranger like me a favor. It is for the well of all that not a single soul more is given to the greeding claws of those villains.

Existence is a fortune. Madrak was long ago revoked of this privilege. His crimes petty and his punishment unjust, he has since been banished from his previous clan. His presence confuses many, as a dragon that seems to teeter between life and death he is a mere ghost of his former power. He now wanders in search of an accepting home whilst warning the wandering traders away from immanent dangers of the Tangled Wood-so they may not face the same fate as he.
