INSTRUCTIONS
Scribble is a simple little toy. Don't worry too much over his origins, you won't like it very much.
Just know that he's loyal. He appreciates his new home and is already learning your face! He will never forget you.

He's a harmless little thing, even with two heads he doesn't have a lot going on. Filled with fluff. And other things. But he's got a strong heart. A biting heart.

Just leave him near anybody you want to keep an eye on. Then play a nice rhythm on the drums, or with a pot and pan, or on your tummy- anything that has a good sound. Something that resonates.

He'll hear the beat. He'll leave his mark- take a just a little nip. And he'll find his way back to you. And he'll let you know what they're up to from now on.

The trance-like rhythm floats through the walls. The beat is mesmerizing, even from a distance. Not unpleasant, though you're not sure where the sound is coming from.
The little, ugly toy on the shelf seems to lurch.

A little concerned, especially because you don't remember this particular toy- and such a crudely sewn one is very memorable- you go to inspect it.
The toy is a sight. Multiple scrappy fabrics held together by a vibrant thread. The red is so bright it seems to throb.

With the extra few beats the toy gives another twitch. The thread around its head... heads... pulls exactly in time with the beat. The thread loosens, the stuffing of the thing bulging. Where the mouths come together, the thread is loosest. You can't stop staring. From between the seams a large black fly pushes its way out of the fabric.
