Bless you Myth

This ugly little Mirror was ostracized by his parents and siblings in his home clan, even more so when he began to grow a nasty murky scaly rash over his entire body, which is why it irked and vexed the rest of the clan when he was blessed with the primal eyes of the Arcanist instead of getting yeeted to Spacedad as a sacrifice like most of his other siblings. In the dead of night, he ran away from his old clan near the Observatory towards the Astrolodome, where he hoped that maybe the enlightened and progressive mages there would take him in (or at least not exalt him). Instead, just as he was about to try and find a way to sneak into the massive astral-rain-protecting dome, he was picked up by the scruff by a rosy Snapper and brought back to their hatchery. Some of the dragons were kinda squicked out by him and his greenish scales and his weird eyes, but instead of encouraging this ostracization, the rosy Snapper admonished them and stood up for the young Mirror, which confused him. In addition, Robocop the eternally youthful was happy to be his friend, as she is made of magically-infused metal and so is pretty immune to anything that the young hatchling may have been carrying even if the scales were contagious (which they are not). With these two things combined, the Mirror started to come out of his shell from a painfully shy, anxious hatchling to a playful young adult. Moreover, as he started to become more confident in himself, he began to discover that the Arcanist had gifted him with more than just the appearance of his eyes (pictured above).
