With a satchel full of discarded trinkets and assorted shiny things Swampy knows its time to return home and share his findings. Emptied satchel, full belly, a three day long nap and he's back on the move. Swampy is a nomad for all intensive purposes. He travels the world with no goal in sight other than discovery. Although he is hardly ever spotted on the clans soil he is still considered a valuable member of the community. The items he brings home come from all over the lands, most are of some value and able to be sold or traded. Those that cannot be profited from are up for grabs. The alchemist and inventor are undoubtedly the most grateful for his otherwise useless findings.

On a recent visit home to empty his satchel and fill his belly, Swampy met Basil, a young pearlcatcher whom he'd yet to meet. A spunky, borderline bothersome hatchling who was full of questions and unfiltered curiosity. Intrigued by her interest and enthusiasm in what he does, he made her a promise in which he would allow her to accompany him when she was ready. On his travels he keeps her in mind. Every trip home he returns baring a special gift for her.
