Pol grasped his pearl with both trembling talons, and a single cerulean tear dripped down his snout

-Has a little cabal of animals and stuff. Their voices don't add to the Hive, but stealing their consciousness satiates the Hive's bloodlust for a short time.
-Saved Quizil from a falling bone, but some of his blood landed in her eye. Pol convinced the Hive not to take Quizil, but now she uhhh has some pretty wack powers. W h o o p s
-When Pol first arrived, he was lacerated with wounds that dripped luminous blue blood. They never really healed, but the blood hardened over the cuts into a pattern that resembles the 'Veined' tertiary. His mask covers a hideous burn scar that stretches across his upper face and jaw.
-He actually has burn scars all across his neck and body, but Blink uses his illusion magic to hide the lesser wounds.
