Mecury was one of the lucky dragons to be born on the outskirts of the Plague kingdom, avoiding falling under mind control influence of their Queen. Much is complicated in the kingdom as it doesn't function like the rest. Like most able to, Mecury would leave the kingdom in search of a better, more fulfilling life. He would end up in Shadestria, the shadow kingdom. With his natural capabilities he would become a warrior and specialize as an assassin. He mastered one of his abilities to generate string almost like a spider. It was very durable, thin and sharp, nearly invisible without proper light. This made him a great and skilled asset to their ranks. He wasn't expecting to make any friends and mostly preferred to hang around by himself, coming from such a different background, but with time a small group of dragons managed to befriend him - Kai, Kody, Sammy and Prince Ebony. Being around them and other dragons outside his own kingdom had helped him flourish. His understanding of the world around him and himself had expanded. He gained much of social skills and even built up quite a bit of charisma. Even as a Plague kingdom dragon he became indistinguishable from all that of other kingdoms. Once the war started he played a great part in the initial defense against the attacking Earth kingdom using his abilities. It wouldn't be enough however. Shadestria would lose and be destroyed. Mecury nearly didn't make it due to his injuries, but he would pull through. The Shadow kingdom would begin rebuilding. He became more of a loner despite things looking up, still nice and polite, but he preferred to be alone again. Sometime later Ebony would suggest him to go on an adventure with a group of dragons under the Earth kingdom's King Gneiss' guidance. He had long since realized his wrongs and ghe two kingomds had come to peace. Ebony thought that would help to clear his mind, and so he would. In a matter of a few days the group had set off on their journey on a flying ship named the Sandy Cyclone. The group consisted of King Gneiss, his lover Queen Estelle, Aberration chefs Salvor and Fulmina, Wind warrior Mistralt, and engineers Avalanche and Alene. Everything was going smoothly and he would even catch the eye of Salvor and Fulmina, becoming lovers. That made him consider that things might be finally truly looking up again. |
