 Once the up-and-coming heir to the clan, Janus was lost during the storm that ravaged the Sea of a Thousand Currents, leaving Rae to take up the reigns when the clan's then-leader/progenitor was killed. During the storm and just before the disappearance of the Tidelord, Janus received his first and only revelation, a devastating vision that he can share with no one. Lost and injured, he was found by Topaz when he washed up in shadow territory and taken back to his clan where they were both welcomed.
