Hecate

Deep beneath the Iolite Conclave, something strange stirred. Down in the earth, the magic was older. Thicker. More primal. It seeped down through soil and rock and found a young one, taken too soon. It tied her old bones together and gave her the strength to claw her way to the surface, to feel the cool night air on her skin once more. However, here above the ground, the primal magic waned. Her strength and will ebbed from her body. The resurrected spiral collapsed onto the soft moss and slept once more.
In her dreams, she crossed paths with the Wandering Star. The Star brought down threads of the cosmos and tied together her new flesh, allowing the tiny miracle to flourish under the sky, just as the primal magic gave her life beneath rock.
