Paphos is a strange dragon. He does not utter a single word, nor does he show his face to anyone who happens to stumble upon the aloof Spiral, yet everyone within the Library's vicinity knows of him. Perhaps it is the unmistakable grief in his aura that attracts even the most indifferent of dergs, or how he knows of the lands of Arbor like the back of his paws despite never leaving the vicinity. Perhaps it's his strange connection with Phantom; how he looks wistfully at the blue Coatl as if he wishes he could speak to him one last time. What ever the case might be, it is unanimous that the dragon is something else entirely (perhaps even dead), and that is left within the gracious paws of the local librarian scholar.

On cloudless nights, when the full moon is visible within the skies of Sornieth, one might find themselves moved by the soft song of a wailing lover as he strings an ancient harp from atop of the Plateau, many miles and journeys away.
