Ruby is a kind soul, which was the problem. Growing up she was always expected to be a warrior. Her parents practically forced it. But she couldn’t kill. She couldn’t even fight. She didn’t want to hurt anyone, or anything. So when she heard her parents we’re gonna exalt her, all she heard was ‘we will just send her to war. The gods will wip her into shape.’ So she ran. Leaving the lair as fast as possible. She didn’t want to fight, much less directly fail their god! It was a few years later that she found the GemRose and moved in. She later found her job at the mining institute identifying crystals. Then she met bird, and truly decided this was the place for her. Her and birds wedding was beautiful, with crystal everything, usually in white, with golden bird themed carvings. She’s been through a lot in life, but she’s found where she belongs, and has what she deserves.
