Pepita
Spirit
8830.png5379.png5149.png3628.png

A dragon long-since dead - or perhaps, never once alive - Pepita is a feral spirit who fades in and out around the local cemeteries and pumpkin patches, and anywhere else the fog takes her. She has become quite the urban legend to young kids who are eager to dare their friends to an all-nighter at the abandoned farm. Only one has made it through the night.
Pepita was a once nameless spirit. She has no memory of where she came from, if she once had a life or has always been drifting in and out of existence; she only knows that it has been this way for ages. Stories have been passed down for endless generations of the ghost who wanders the fields. Some say she searches for something she lost long ago, others believe she is an evil spirit here to drag lost children into the moor. They say if you are lost at night, keep to the dark, because if you seek out the light she will be waiting for you.

Pepita spends most of her time scaring children, though not quite why you'd expect. The moor, empty fields, and vast forests are not a safe playground after all, and many people get easily turned around. A little fire there, little fog here usually gets them running back in the right direction. Though she's not against the occasional haunting or two. Most of the brats who shove their friends out onto the moor deserve it. They're always so noisy and quite frankly rude. Making them cry also helps to pass the time.

It was some Halloweens ago when a young man sought her out in an abandoned farmhouse. He was alone, quiet, and respectful. When Pepita revealed herself to him he did not run or scream, but stroke up a conversation instead. They proceeded to meet nearly every day since then and have become fast friends.
